The Finance team is looking for a qualified candidate to play a pivotal role in driving our accounting initiatives:

 

What you will do…

  • Support accounting operations, including financial reporting
  •  Oversee the accounts payable function
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold effective internal controls over financial reporting and accounting procedures
  •          Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts
  •          Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP for the Firm and its subsidiaries which includes the firm foundation
  •          Maintain general ledger, journal entries, accruals, reserves, and account reconciliations
  •          Prepare business activity reports and other financial reports 
  •          Contribute to the development and execution of the annual budgeting process
  •          Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  •          Support the administration of retirement plans and facilitates the annual audit process
  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  •          Identify and recommend updates to accounting processes and procedures
  •          Support the closing process
  •          Prepare and maintain the Cash Forecast
  •          Participate in or manage special projects to support evolving business needs

 

 

What you bring…

  •          Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related studies
  •          Required: 4+ years of experience - with a background in general accounting
  • CPA Preferred or at least 1-2 sections of the exam already passed.
  •          Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
  •          Background in cash reconciliation and daily reporting
  •          Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams
  •          Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  •          Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  •          Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced work environment
  •          Practice Engine/IRIS software experience is preferred but not required
  •          Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
