What you will be doing…
- Provide leadership in tax services to individuals and families
- Working closely with family offices on income, gift, and estate issues
- Interact with clients to provide consulting and compliance expertise
- Review complex individual, estate, trust, and gift tax returns
- Manage and implement multiple projects simultaneously. This includes client communication, review of detailed calculations, analysis, data gathering, and coordination of Windham Brannon and client resources
- Review and conduct research and analysis of tax issues related to income, trust, and estate tax issues
- Collaborate with members of client’s other outside advisors in providing holistic and comprehensive planning services to the client
- Motivate and mentor junior staff members by providing them with leadership, counseling, and professional guidance
- Develop new business relationships with potential clients and outside advisors to grow Windham Brannon’s client base and work to foster on-going efforts to obtain additional opportunities for the Firm
What you bring…
- Required: minimum of 6 years of tax experience in Public Accounting; currently at the Manager level or higher
- Required: active CPA license
- Required: four-year degree in accounting or other applicable area of study
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and multi-generational families
- Expertise in areas including income tax, estate, and gift planning
- Supervisory experience collaborating with and mentoring tax professionals on a project / engagement basis
